Udon with pork and vegetables
Origin of the recipe
Pork and vegetable udon is a traditional Japanese dish made from thin strips of meat, usually boiled or stewed with vegetables. Most often, the meat is boiled in a simmering pot of broth immediately before serving—the thin strips cook very quickly. However, as the name suggests, the meat was first fried—in villages, this was done with a shovel or plowshare.

Cooking tips
If you are not afraid to eat raw eggs, you can skip the second step.
Spread the brisket strips in the pan so they cook evenly.
The best way to stir the contents of the pan is by shaking it – this way the ingredients are mixed more evenly and do not get damaged.
