Step-by-step recipe:
Step 1:
Prepare the pork ribs: remove the film from the meat.
Step 2:
Cut the ribs into portions.
Step 3:
Prepare the marinade: mix grated garlic, soy sauce, honey, pepper, paprika, dried garlic, salt, nutmeg, vegetable oil and sweet mustard.
Step 4:
Marinate pork ribs in the marinade for 8-12 hours.
Step 5:
Prepare the vegetables: chop the pepper, onion, carrot, cabbage and potatoes.
Step 6:
Stir the vegetables.
Step 7:
Place the pork ribs in a baking dish.
Step 8:
Place the pre-prepared vegetables in the center and pour over the marinade.
Step 9:
Tie the ribs with kitchen string.
Step 10:
Cover the pan with foil.
Step 11:
Bake in the oven at 180°C for 2.5 hours.
Step 12:
Make the glaze: mix together a tablespoon of soy sauce, mustard and ketchup.
Step 13:
Brush the ribs with the glaze.
Step 14:
Bake in the oven for another 10-15 minutes at 200°C.
Step 15:
Garnish with parsley and rosemary. Enjoy!
Cooking tips:
To ensure tender pork ribs, don't skip the marinating step.
If you want a crispier crust, increase the oven temperature for the last 5 minutes.
To enhance the flavor, you can add a little marinade to the baking dish.
Don't overdo it with salt, as the marinade already contains salt.
Serve the dish immediately after cooking, while the meat is hot.
You can use other types of meat instead of pork ribs.
For variety, make several filling options: with mushrooms or with cheese.
