Stuffed Chicken Breast with Jalapenos

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut off the tops of two jalapeño peppers, scoop out the seeds with a spoon and chop finely.
Step 2:
Place cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for 30 seconds.
Step 3:
Add jalapeño, finely grated Parmesan, coarsely grated mozzarella, salt, pepper and garlic powder and stir to combine.
Step 4:
Cut the chicken breasts to create pockets.
Step 5:
Place the filling into the pockets, close and fasten with toothpicks.
Step 6:
Sprinkle the breasts with paprika and sprinkle with salt.
Step 7:
Place the breasts in a frying pan with oil and fry on both sides.
Step 8:
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degrees.
Step 9:
Let it sit for 5 minutes, place it on a plate, remove the toothpicks, slice and serve.
Cooking tips
Don't overdo it with paprika, so that it doesn't overpower the flavor of the filling.
When cutting chicken breasts, press them with your palm - this will compact the meat and make it easier to cut.
Don't worry if some of the filling leaks into the pan while cooking. If too much spills out, simply spread it on top of the chicken, but three toothpicks should be enough to keep most of it in.
