Banana-chocolate dessert with oatmeal

If you've chosen to eat a plant-based diet or are observing Lent, that doesn't mean you have to give up delicious treats with your tea! This sweet yet healthy chocolate banana oatmeal dessert is quick and easy to make.
Step 1:
Place the oats in a dry frying pan and toast over low heat for three minutes, stirring constantly. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2:
Trim the ends of the bananas, peel them and cut them into medium pieces.
Step 3:
Place bananas in a blender, add cocoa powder and milk.
Step 4:
Pour the chocolate-banana mixture into a clean bowl.
Step 5:
Melt the dark chocolate.
Step 6:
In a large clean bowl, combine the mixture with the melted chocolate.
Step 7:
Add toasted oats and stir.
Step 8:
Line a plate with paper, place a baking ring on it, pour in the resulting mixture and smooth it out.
Step 9:
Place the dessert in the refrigerator for an hour.
Step 10:
Carefully remove the ring and garnish the dessert with coconut flakes if desired.
Cooking tips
Vegans can replace regular milk with plant-based milk.
Chocolate can be melted in a double boiler or in a microwave.
For this dessert you need to set the ring diameter to 16 cm.
