Dulce de Leche
Origin of the recipe
It is believed that dulce de leche originated accidentally when milk and sugar were left on the stove for too long, causing them to caramelize. Regardless of its exact origins, dulce de leche has become an important part of the culinary culture of many Latin American countries and is used in various desserts, pastries, and even as a cake filling.
