This classic beef salad is delicious any time of year, and all it takes is just boiling the meat. It's hardly suitable as a holiday treat, but it's perfect for dinner or a light appetizer during a gathering of friends or family! And it's definitely low in calories!
Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Cut the onion into half rings, place in a bowl, add apple cider vinegar, salt and mix.
Step 2:
Cut the boiled beef into strips and add to the onion.
Step 3:
Cut fresh cucumbers into strips and add to the bowl.
Step 4:
Finely chop the cilantro and add to the bowl.
Step 5:
Add two crushed garlic cloves.
Step 6:
Season the salad with sour cream, add salt and mix well.
Cooking tips
Any lean meat will do for the salad.
For convenience, first cut the boiled meat into slices, then fold them into a mound and cut.
If you don't like cilantro, you can use any greens you like.
