Seaweed salad with marinated carrots

Seaweed isn't considered a delicacy, but it's an extremely healthy seaweed that contains numerous vitamins and minerals. Carrots are no less beneficial. And the right combination of spices makes a salad made with these simple ingredients not only healthy but also delicious.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Soak the dried seaweed in a bowl of water for 25 minutes. Rinse the softened seaweed.
Step 2:
Let's make the marinade. Squeeze the lemon juice into a small bowl.
Step 3:
Add thick honey to the same bowl and stir until it dissolves in the juice.
Step 4:
Crush the garlic cloves into the same bowl using a garlic press or by chopping the garlic very finely.
Step 5:
Grate the peeled ginger root and add to the bowl.
Step 6:
Add red pepper, paprika, turmeric and salt to a bowl.
Step 7:
Add olive oil and mix well.
Step 8:
Cut the seaweed into medium-sized pieces. Place in a bowl or salad bowl.
Step 9:
Wash the green onions and cilantro and slice thinly. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 10:
Peel the carrots, grate them coarsely and place them in a bowl with the seaweed and onions.
Step 11:
Add the marinade to the bowl with the salad and toss.
Step 12:
Place the salad in the refrigerator for at least 5 hours.
