Shashlik in pomegranate juice
Origin of the recipe
Shashlik is a dish with an "Oriental accent," and in those same regions, you can find such a wonderful ingredient for a shashlik marinade as pomegranate juice. Shashlik cooked in pomegranate juice turns out very tender, as the meat fibers are softened by the acidity of the juice. The shashlik acquires a delightful sweet and sour flavor and a rich color that simply melts in your mouth!
