Pumpkin latte
Origin of the recipe
Pumpkin latte, or pumpkin spice latte (PSL), has become popular relatively recently. It originated as a seasonal fall drink for coffee drinkers. Pumpkin spice isn't actually pumpkin, but a pumpkin pie spice blend. Some recipes for this drink don't include pumpkin, but in a true PSL, this unusual ingredient is essential.

Cooking tips
Rubbing the pumpkin through a sieve makes sense if you want the puree to be smooth and homogeneous.
