Coffee Panna Cotta

Panna Cotta (meaning "boiled cream") is a fairly simple dessert from Northern Italy, consisting of a creamy jelly. But when you add the tantalizing aroma of coffee, this well-known, ancient delicacy takes on a whole new flavor.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Pour hot water into a cup, add instant coffee and stir.
Step 2:
Pour hot water into another container, add gelatin and stir until it dissolves.
Step 3:
Pour the heavy cream into a saucepan over low heat, add the sugar, and stir until the sugar dissolves. Heat for another 3 minutes and remove from heat.
Step 4:
Add the coffee mixture and gelatin to the saucepan. Mix well.
Step 5:
Add vanilla extract and mix well.
Step 6:
Strain the mixture through a sieve, cool slightly and pour into two molds.
Step 7:
Cover the molds with film and put them in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
Step 8:
Turn the dessert out onto a plate and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
Cooking tips
Choose the best quality instant coffee – this will make the dessert taste better.
To help the dessert come out of the mold easily, gently pull the edges with your finger, but try not to damage the jelly.
