Various versions of the sauce are used everywhere – in pizzas, soups, and many other dishes. We invite you to try making a simple cheese sauce.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Grate the cheese.
Step 2:
Place the butter in a saucepan, place it on the fire and melt the butter, stirring constantly.
Step 3:
Add flour to the butter and stir.
Step 4:
Fry the flour until golden brown, stirring constantly.
Step 5:
Add milk to the ladle and stir the contents over low heat until it reaches the consistency of kefir.
Step 6:
Once there are no lumps left in the ladle, add salt and grated cheese.
Step 7:
Stir constantly after adding the cheese.
Step 8:
Bring the saucepan to a boil and remove from heat. Let the sauce cool and serve with your favorite dishes.
Cooking tips
Toasting the flour usually takes about 5 minutes. If you don't stir the flour, it will stick and may burn. It's easiest to stir with a whisk, as this will help the flour dissolve better.
If you want a thicker sauce, you can add more cheese, but in this case, be careful not to overdo it, otherwise it may not melt completely and curdle into lumps.
If you doubt that the cheese will melt, you can use processed cheese, it melts much easier.
If you want, you can add spices to the sauce to taste; this will not stop it from being cheesy, it will just change its flavor.
