Fish in pomegranate juice
Origin of the recipe
In addition to vinegar, acidic fruit juices have been used for marinating fish since ancient times. A quick marinade in fruit juice doesn't affect the shelf life of the fish, but it makes it very tender and appetizing after cooking. The slightly tart flavor of pomegranate juice pairs perfectly with the natural flavor of red fish.
