Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Wash the apricots and cut into random pieces.
Step 2:
Crack three eggs into a bowl. Add flour and sugar and mix lightly.

Grease the pan with butter, pour in a quarter of the batter and smooth it out.

Spread the apricots in an even layer.

Cover the apricots with another quarter of the dough and smooth it out.

Place another layer of apricots and cover with the remaining dough.

Bake for 35-40 minutes in an oven preheated to 200 degrees.
Cooking tips
Choose apricots that are firm enough so that they don't release too much juice.
If the apricots are not very sweet, sprinkle some sugar on top.
The finished charlotte can be sprinkled with powdered sugar.
