Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Sift flour into a bowl.
Step 2:
Add cocoa powder and baking powder, mix.
Step 3:
Break eggs into a clean bowl, add sugar and vanilla sugar and beat with a mixer until fluffy.
Step 4:
While whisking, slowly pour in the vegetable oil. Beat for another 1.5 to 2 minutes.
Step 5:
Add the flour and cocoa mixture in several stages, stirring with a spatula.
Step 6:
Cut the apples into small cubes.
Step 7:
Gently fold the apples into the dough.
Step 8:
Line the bottom of the pan with parchment paper, add the dough and smooth it out.
Step 9:
Bake in an oven preheated to 190 degrees for 40 minutes.
Step 10:
Let the charlotte cool completely and remove from the mold.
Cooking tips
The oven should be preheated well.
Check the readiness of the charlotte with a wooden skewer – it should come out clean and dry from the center.
Serve the chocolate charlotte with condensed milk, caramel sauce or whipped cream.
