"Boiled" omelette with cheese and onions

A delicious and healthy no-fry omelet has long been prepared in Japan and Korea. For this omelet, eggs are poured into boiling water, where they cook instantly. This dish requires no extra fat and is suitable for those with sensitive digestion. And the cheese adds flavor and a pleasant feeling of fullness!

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Finely chop the green onions.
Step 2:
Break 4 eggs into a bowl and mix well with chopsticks.
Step 3:
Add sugar and salt, pour in half a tablespoon of fish sauce, stir vigorously.
Step 4:
Pour water into the pan, add half a tablespoon of fish sauce and stir.
Step 5:
Bring water to a boil over high heat until large bubbles form.
Step 6:
Pour in half of the egg mixture.
Step 7:
When the eggs are cooked, remove them with a slotted spoon and place them in a deep plate.
Step 8:
Place two slices of sandwich cheese on top.
Step 9:
Bring the water back to a boil and pour in the remaining half of the egg mixture.
Step 10:
When the eggs are cooked, remove them and place them on top of the cheese.
Step 11:
Drizzle the omelette with sesame oil, sprinkle with green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
Cooking tips
Eggs cook in boiling water for a few seconds; you don't need to cook them for long, just eyeball it.
Instead of fish sauce, you can use soy sauce or do without it altogether, just adding salt to the eggs and water.
