The name of the most popular Bulgarian breakfast means "mixture, confusion." It's hard to tell whether it's stewed vegetables with eggs or scrambled eggs with vegetables, cheese, and spices. It's a very filling and flavorful dish for the whole family, energizing and uplifting for the afternoon.

Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan.
Step 2:
Finely chop the onion and bell pepper, add the onion to the pan and fry, stirring, for 3 minutes over medium heat.
Step 3:
Add bell pepper, pour in olive oil, stir and fry for 5 minutes over medium heat.
Step 4:
Add chopped tomatoes, salt, red pepper, thyme, and fresh basil. Sauté for 8-10 minutes over low heat.
Step 5:
Add crumbled feta cheese and stir.
Step 6:
Beat in the eggs, stir, and cook for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.
Step 7:
Turn off the stove, smooth out the eggs, sprinkle with parsley and serve.
