Step-by-step recipe:
Step 1:
Weigh the cottage cheese. Place the bowl on the scale, zero it out, and add 360 g of cottage cheese.
Step 2:
Add butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, baking powder, and egg. Mix until smooth.
Step 3:
Sprinkle a little flour onto a board. Pinch off portions of the dough and roll them into balls.
Step 4:
Place the donuts on parchment paper in an air fryer pan or basket, leaving space between them.
Step 5:
Bake at 130°C for 10 minutes. The curd donuts should be lightly golden when finished.
Step 6:
Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with tea.
Cooking tips:
Use medium-fat cottage cheese - it will give the desired density and taste.
If the dough is sticky, lightly oil your hands or add a little flour.
Do not increase the temperature above 130°C - the donuts may burn on the outside and remain raw on the inside.
