Step-by-step recipe
Step 1:
Place cherries in a blender and blend until smooth.
Step 2:
Pour heavy cream into a bowl and beat with a mixer until stiff peaks form.
Step 3:
Add sweetened condensed milk and cherry puree. Beat with a mixer until smooth.
Step 4:
Pour the mixture into an ice cream tub, cover with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours.
Step 5:
Serve by scooping the ice cream into balls with an ice cream scoop.
Cooking tips
You can use either fresh or frozen cherries, but it is better to use a more powerful blender to chop frozen cherries.
You can also make ice cream with other berries or fruits using the same method.
